SkyScout 2+ is an ultra-lightweight Group 1 sUAS built for rapidly evolving defense missions, combining modular payload flexibility, open software architecture, native ATAK integration, and Blue UAS compliance in a portable platform designed to adapt as mission requirements change.
Designed, Assembled & Supported in Mississippi · CAGE Code 8Q476
SkyScout 2+ was engineered at the tactical edge and validated in the field. It pairs S-Port hot-swap payloads with EMI-hardened avionics, autonomous GPS-denied navigation, and an encrypted ATAK-native command architecture that requires zero additional apps. It is Blue UAS Cleared as of April 8, 2026.
The SkyBoss GCS runs ATAK natively with no additional tablet required, transmitting AES-256 encrypted CoT XML and PLI to TAK, Nett Warrior, and Blue Force Tracker. Hardware-level encryption secures all C2 and 4K video on a single link, with device-specific keys bound to the aircraft serial number.
SignalShield EMI-hardened flight control sustains stable C2 and navigation through live EW jamming, validated at MCAGCC 29 Palms in November 2024. On GPS loss, Visual-Based Navigation fuses downward LiDAR with a 9-axis IMU to maintain altitude hold, heading reference, and full directional control with no operator input.
Built for demanding field operations, the SkyScout 2+ delivers a powerful combination of portability, endurance, and payload flexibility in a 5.5 lb airframe. With up to 35 minutes of flight time, a 3.85 lb payload capacity, 50 MPH wind rating, and operation from -4°F to 122°F, it is designed to keep missions moving in challenging environments. Front, rear, and downward collision avoidance, along with GNSS- and LiDAR-based terrain following, further support confident operation across a range of defense applications.
S-Port quick-attach swaps EO/IR, LiDAR, and 61 MP mapping payloads in under 30 seconds with a single tool-free connection. No tools, no power cycle, no second operator. Hardware-level integration with CLIK Lite ensures compatibility with Army lethality systems and supports non-lethal delivery of blood, plasma, and medical supplies to the tactical edge.
Blue UAS test and evaluation completed at MCAGCC 29 Palms, including GPS-denied RSTA and sustained C2 through live EW jamming environments.
Independent cybersecurity assessment including live deauth and DoS attacks: zero successful intrusions and zero critical findings.
APK static analysis received a Grade A with zero high-severity findings, while MIL-STD-810H testing evaluated the platform across temperature, rain, and vibration conditions.
